Scenic Brewing Company | Anniversary Advertising
Brief: Scenic Brewing Company was celebrating its first year anniversary. The owner tasked the marketing director and I to develop a series of advertisements highlighting the restaurant/brewery and the three new beers that were being revealed at the event.
Solution: The main advertisement needed to be adapted into various sizes for digital and print media, so we decided to keep the base of the design simple and easy to resize, especially for the digital ads where the specs were small. The marketing director was responsible for developing and finalizing the written copy, while I was responsible for bringing together the copy and the visual elements.
Our solution for the design was to take multiple images of the company's craft beers and utilize Photoshop to transform them into looking like a traditional celebratory cake with a candle. The beer peering through the glass represented the cake, and the foam on top represented the icing.
